Bark n' Forth 1.0 RELEASE


After nearly 100 days, the Bark n’ Forth Biscuit Blaster 1.0 RELEASE is HERE.  We have worked tirelessly to make a completely fleshed-out version of the game and, while it may have an minor issue here or there that still needs fixing, the base components are all complete and fully-functional.

Without further ado, here are the complete release notes:

-3 NEW LEVELS, including a new obstacle: moving platforms

-New backgrounds/walls for floors 2 and 3

-working volume setting

-LEVEL SCORING - with screens following level completion to show you your score

-high score displays in level select screen

-animations for menu buttons have been added

-SPEEDRUN MODE - try your luck at speedrunning through all 10 levels, with a built-in counter to track your time

-speedrun menu option, displaying a screen that displays top 3 speedrun attempts

-SCORE SAVING - the game now contains save files, saving high scores on every level, as well as all speedrun times between launches

-jump animation updated (per request of artist)

-game physics rework

Bug Fixes:

-Lasers had a chance to damage treats multiple times

-The player only shot to the right

-The player now stands still momentarily while shooting

-some messy level designs cleaned up (more to come)

-the game should now work with different aspect ratios
